According to what reported by Film Music Reporter, the soundtrack of Wonder Woman 1984 will be entrusted to Hans Zimmer. If the news were to be confirmed, the composer will write music for the sixth film, DC Comics, after the trilogy of Nolan Batman, The Man of Steel (2013) and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016).

Patty Jenkins has also finally offered the first look at Pedro Pascal (Narcos, Game of Thrones):

Many assume a role in disguise for the actor or a different version of Doctor Fate. The colors of the dress of Pascal, as we see in the image, recall the costume of the character, and may be of the references interesting, the actual role of the actor.

In Wonder Woman 1984 we will see the return of Chris Pine and the debut of the Cheetah, and Kristen Wiig; it may also be present in the jet invisible. The plot of the movie is expected to turn around the world of a dystopian created by the mass media in a social context like that of the ’80s.

“The thing that I love the most of Wonder Woman is that it represents more than all the other heroes of the people, we are all Wonder Woman. I don't want to do the sequel just because the first movie has grossed a lot of money, or make a simple copy of the first. I love these characters, my thought was always how to make a film unique and exciting as the first, it evokes what has passed the previous one, but remains a new roll, and stand-alone.” the words of Patty Jenkins at Comic-con 2018.

Previously, at CinemaCon the other hand, were given more news about the villain of the movie, the Cheetah. According to what reported by a member of Vulture, a character which refers to the version created by Len Wein and George Perez in 1987, Kristen Wiig will initially be a friend of Diana and, more than a nemesis of the amazonian princess will be a emulatrice that he will surpass his idol.

The approach to the character of Patty Jenkins is very similar therefore to the one used by modern comic writers, Greg Rucka Liam Sharp in Rebirth. Barbara Minerva is known to be an archeologist and best friend of Diana Prince, until its transformation into a Cheetah next to the curse of the god Urzkartaga. The two, in the film, you may also get in contact because of the desires prove the existence of Themyscira and the amazons of the archaeologist and, at the same time, will Wonder Woman's return home. All of these elements do not, however, Ceetah, at least according to many, the real major villain of the film ,given the setting of the ’80s and the already announced the topos of the dystopia created by the media.

The place where the character will acquire his powers could be a village, as egyptian, is reproduced on Canary island Fuerteventura, as shown by this photo:

Among the main candidates for the role of real villain there would also be Veronica Cale, a sort of “Lex Luthor” for Wonder Woman very well, indeed, to the philosophical already introduced in the first chapter (about the good and the evil present in men) and Maxwell Lord, suggestion, among the most interesting and perhaps relevant having regard to the context of the film. For those who are not an avid devourer of comic books, Lord is a classic enemy of the Justice League able to manipulate the minds of the people, averse to superheroes such as Wonder Woman or Superman, who he considers the greatest threats to mankind. Over the years, he gathered data on them and also assisting in a Brother's Eye (created by Batman), the system is able to control any computer network in the world. Given the topics of dystopia and the temptation to mass-media, Lord would be the ideal person to appear in the film.
