Willem Dafoe Romics d'oro XXV edition
Exactly a year from the premium received from Martin Freeman, another Hollywood star will be honoured with the prestigious Romics d'oro: this is Willem Dafoe, american actor naturalized Italian (lives, together with his wife, between Rome and New York) known for roles in cinecomics as the Spider-Man of Sam Raimi, where he played Goblins, and in the last Aquaman, taking on the role of the mentor of Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Vulko.
Candidate four academy awards (three for best supporting actor and best attor main protagonist) and 3-time Golden Globe, Dafoe has recently interpreted the Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh in the biographical film of Van Gogh – On the threshold of eternity: his performance has enchanted the audience in the world and has allowed him to win the Volpi Cup for best actor at the international Exhibition of cinematographic art.
Willem Dafoe will be present at Romics in a meeting with the public devoted to topics such as: how to create a perfect antagonist, the correct approach to the script, and the “working with the voice”.
