WhatsApp, the anti misinformation seem to work
It seems that the anti misinformation WhatsApp introduced at the beginning of the month are bearing fruit. A spokesperson for WhatsApp told the financial daily magazine indian Business Standard that the popular platform of instant messaging has seen the volume of messages that are viral-shared contract by as much as 70%. The measure, we recall, provides that a message that is shared in more than five times may be forwarded to a single recipient for a time. Already in the first bars, WhatsApp had seen a reduction of approximately 25% of the shares at the global level.
WhatsApp is committed to do its part in combating the spread of messages viral. Since it was launched, the new limitation, on the world level, there has been a 70% reduction in the number of messages with a high rate of forwarding on WhatsApp. This change helps to keep WhatsApp a place for private conversations and personal.
