Other competition is coming to Netflix and Amazon Prime Video: after Disney, Warner Bros will have its own streaming service, called WarnerMedia (name of division AT & T was formed in June after the acquisition of Time Warner, the host branches, as Warner Bros Entertainment, DC Entertainment, HBO, CNN and Turner Broadcasting), and that will be launched in the second half of 2019.

“This is another benefit of the merger AT & T / Time Warner” the words of the CEO of WarnerMedia John Stankey in a statement “we commit to launch a product so compelling and competitive that will complement our existing activities and will help us to expand our brands, offering a choice of entertainment is new and alternative with the collection WarnerMedia of films, tv series, documentaries and animation products loved by fans around the world. We want to create a product so compelling that will help the distribution of our actual packages and, at the same time, that will give us the opportunity to reach more customers. ”

As we know, WarnerMedia has its own extensive library of products, including the trade names DC and Hanna-Barbera, the universe Conjuring, the Harry Potter series (and its spinoff fantastic Animals, of course), the Looney Tunes, The Throne of Swords, The Lord of the Rings and the LEGO movie.
