Vittorio Grigolo in the eye of the storm: suspended in London
The content is accused of molesting a woman
Vittorio Grigolo was suspended on 18 September 2019 from the Opera House in London. The reason for this? It would seem that the tenor has harassed a woman. The woman in question is a singer in the choir of the opera and it would seem that the story took place on the stage in front of everyone's eyes. “The members of the choir begged him to stop, and Grigolo had a heated discussion with them. They were horrified by what happened”, here's what they tell the witnesses to the Sun.
The Opera House in London, after initially covered up the whole, giving Grigolo for “unwell”, has in the last few hours decided to replace the Italian tenor with the Russian Georgy Vasiliev. The theatre, however, does not release statements on the incident (which would seem to be a hit during the calls of the applause at the end of a replication of Faust Charles-Francois Gounod, in which Grigolo was the protagonist, staged in Tokyo last Wednesday), because the investigation is still in progress.

After these events there is linked inevitably to an interview that Grigolo was released to Vanity Fair in 2015, constituting a “freak sex”. The fact is not isolated: just the other day, another tenor, Placido Domingo has turned his back on performing in Macbeth at the Met in New York, following numerous complaints of harassment by several women.
