Through their Twitter official account Shuhei Yabuta, director of the anime of Vinland Saga as well as Inuyashiki and director of the computer graphics, The Attack of the Giants or Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, he spoke about the future of the transposition of the seinen manga by Makoto Yukimura.

First of all, he thanked the spectators for following the episode 19; he then stated that in future episodes there will be some changes compared to the manga, since the staff considers it necessary to enjoy the series as a independent content.

The animated series of Vinland Saga is directed by Shuhei Yabuta (Highschool of the Dead) " at Wit Studio (Attack of The Giants) on the basis of the scripts by Hiroshi Seko (Ajin – Demi-Human) & Kenta Ihara (Saga of Tanya the Evil); the character design is curated by Takahiko Abiru (Hunter x Hunter); Yutaka Yamada (Tokyo Ghoul) composed the soundtrack.

Aired from July, the series is available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in Italy.

Towards the end of the millennium, the Vikings, the tribe more powerful, but more terrible, were the rage everywhere. The son of the most valorous warrior, Thorfinn, he lived his youth on the field of battle while trying to the fantastic land called Vinland. This is the story of a true warrior in an age of turbulence.

The original manga, which will conclude with the fourth saga, is in progress for Edizioni Star Comics.
