Valve has acquired the Campo Santo, the studio responsible for one of my favorite games
The studio indie Campo Santo, responsible for the implementation of Firewatch, one of my favourite games of all time (ok, I know I keep saying that, but it really is a little gem), has been officially acquired by Valve corporation, the platform for distribution of digital games the most famous in the world (yes, a time were video games... a time).
Valve will leave the studio intact and therefore able to continue working on the new title announced during the Game Awards 2017: In the valley of Gods. Soon, however, the study will be transferred to the new Seattle office.
An unexpected move that Valve, which I can't wait to find out what will be the future developments. The news, leaked online yesterday evening, has been confirmed also through a long post published on the official blog of the studio, which you can find at this address.
