Valkyrie: Jason Aaron to write the regular series
The editor-in-chief, CB Cebulski has announced at C2E2 that Valkyrie will be the protagonist of a series after the event, The War of The Realms. The series will be co-written by Jason Aaron, writer of Thor and The War of The Realms, with Al Ewing, writer of the Immortal Hulk. Aaron said that Valkyrie will have a significant role in The War of The Realms (of which we propose the launch trailer), thus creating the new regular series.
The series will bring the long-running Aaron on the titles of Thor towards the end. Marvel has not revealed the artist for the series. Also gave no details on the plot.

Valkyrie is Brunnhilde, a former skjaldmaer asgardiana chosen by Odin to be the leader of the goddesses-warriors responsible for leading the souls worthy to the halls of Valhalla. Valkyrie has been a member of the Avengers and the Defenders. More recently, it has been chosen as a member of the Asgardians of the Galaxy.
The War of The Realms was written by Aaron drawn by Russell Dauterman, colored by Matthew Wilson. The events that led to The War of The Realms have been sown for years through the stories of Aaron written for Thor: God of Thunder, The Mighty Thor, The Unworthy Thor, and Thor. The event will feature all the main heroes of Marvel comics, including Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Black Panther and Captain Marvel. The event involves Malakith the Accursed, after having fought in other realms of the World Tree is Midgard his next target.
The crossover will begin in April.
