USB-C on the arrival on the new iPhone?

Some rumors, some weeks they have claimed that the iPhone 11 will have a charger 18W in the package, a news of the most exciting iPhone 11. This is the same USB charger-C provided with the iPad Pro 2019, and that can be purchased separately from the Apple store.

The charger should provide a faster charging of the iPhone and improve the compatibility with the new MacBook. We will not have to spend extra money for a charger that is faster, or for a cable USB-C to Lightning that works with newer computers. But what happens if the iPhone 11 is provided with ports USB-C instead of Lightning?

Apple surprised us last fall when he removed the port to Lightning for USB-C on the iPad Pro. The move of Apple is justified, because thanks to the new port, the device now supports the quick charge a variety of USB products-C, without having to buy any adapter.

Also, iPadOS will make the USB port-C is still more useful, given that iPad users will receive support for the storage is expandable and the support for the mouse. Also, with Sidecar, macOS 10.15, we will be able to transform your iPad into a secondary display for the Mac that we have available in both options wired and wireless.

Up to this time, there were many clues on the USB port-C for the iPhone 11, but a new discovery in iOS 13 beta seems to indicate that this could happen:

A Twitter user from France has noticed a new graphic in iOS 13 when you connect the iPhone to the Mac to perform a recovery. Rather than the familiar Lightning cable and the iTunes icon, on iOS 13, you will see the image of a laptop and what appears to be a cable to USB-C.

The new image might not mean anything. Apple may use images that are more generic to convey the message of what we need to connect the iPhone to a MacBook.

It is expected that the iPhone series 11 has the same design as their predecessors with regard to the display, even if there is a major change to the rear camera. Each of the three new iPhone will get an extra lens on the back. The potential addition of USB support-C for the iPhone would be another strong point for the iPhone series 11.
