Unearth: arrival In a new board game from the study of Boss Monster
First contact with Unearth, the new table game of placing dice of the studio, responsible of Boss Monster, Brotherwise Games
Brotherwise Games, the publisher behind the board game, Boss Monster (arrived in Italy thanks to Fever Games), has announced the arrival of Unearth, a title of placing dice for 2 – 4 players, designed by Jason Harner and Matthew Ransom (here at their first experience).
In Unearth'll guide a group of Delver (excavators/researchers, I've never understood if there is an equivalent in Italian, please let me know in the comments), represented by the 5 dice in our possession (3 D6, and 1 D4 1 D8), which will be placed on the top of the resources, ruins of ancient city and new wonders, represented by the number of cards illustrated with beautiful artwork in isometric view, made by Jesse Riggle.
Each roll of the dice we will be able to decide how to use our result: a draw down we will be able to bring back to the light of the stones to rebuild the wonders of a lost civilization (and we will receive a bonus in the game), with a high shot, we can instead reclaim the ruins in order to accumulate points. Both roads can lead players to victory, but will they choose which strategy to adopt.
A preview of the game will be shown during the Gen con 2017, while the title will arrive on store shelves next August 17. More information on Unearth will be published, via a preview on the official website of Brotherwise Games around the 12 June.
