According to the official description, the series follows the travels of existential characters from murderers to become samurai in the city of angels, and promises a mixture of violence, beauty and thought to the existential. “The society is falling, everything is falling down around us,” sings a character, while the machine Refn captures both the natural beauty that urban southern California.
