The CEO of Apple Tim Cook was again named by TIME as one of the “100 most influential people” in the world. Cook is recognized as a “Titan” at the side of illustrious figures such as Yuri Milner, Binny and Sachin Bansal, Dwayne “The Rock” Johsnon, Wang Jianlin and Pope Francis.
Each person included in the list of the TIME it is presented by an essay written by an associate. This year the Cook sees the signature of the CEO of Disney Bob Iger:
"Apple is known for elegant and innovative products that change the world, transforming the way in which we 'connect', we create and communicate, as well as the way to work, think and act. Its continued success requires a leader of great character and courage that requires excellence, who is a proponent of the highest ethical standards and continually challenge the status quo, encouraging discussions about who we are as a culture and community.
Tim Cook is that kind of leader.
Behind his attitude is calm and her manners of the South, there is a lack of fear that comes from a deep personal conviction. Tim is committed to doing the right thing, in the right way, at the right time and for the right reasons. As CEO, he brought Apple to new success, and continues to build a global brand that is universally recognized as an industry leader and widely respected for its values".
Tim Cook has been included in this list several times, and in 2014 was named “person of the year” by the editors of TIME after you have declared publicly to be homosexual, despite being a very reserved person.
