The Walking Dead: Michael Kudlitz open to his return
In fact, it seems that Abraham Ford will return to the universe of the AMC, at least according to what was said by the actor Michael Cudlitz during a recent interview, after he left, The Walking Dead, in his seventh season in 2017.
“The show has a kind of setting in the story through flashbacks and stories of origin. There are still characters in the show who were close to Abraham, with whom he had a history,” said Cudlitz, “we Could easily come back.”
However, Cudlitz has gone into more detail, saying in particular, what fans can expect from seeing him in the role of Abraham Ford, once again. “They're also making other films that will move, in time, will return back in time, go forward in time, and I think we can pair individuals who were not necessarily coupled in the comics,” said Cudlitz. Even though he has not confirmed anything officially, the actor has offered a conclusion that is vague, but encouraging: “A strong, thin yes. Very, very possible”.
Cudlitz has appeared for the first time in The Walking Dead in its fourth season, debuting alongside Josh McDermitt and Christian Serratos. Both members of the cast are in the show even today, as Eugene Porter, and Rosita Espinosa. Cudlitz is back to The Walking Dead in its current season to direct his first episode.
With a trio of movies of Rick Grimes in development, AMC is also developing other shows, the spin-off of The Walking Dead, and other films that involve characters of The Walking Dead and the series, Fear the Walking Dead. The TV series The Walking Dead returns for its ninth season February 10. Fear the Walking Dead will return for its fifth season in 2019.
