The Tick: cancelled the series Amazon after the second season
After two seasons, Amazon Prime Video has decided to cancel The Tick: the announcement came from the same creator of the series, Ben Edlund, via Twitter.
“I'm sorry to inform you that Amazon has decided not to pursue The Tick-in-law who tweets, “But I'm not sorry to say that I love this series, its cast, its story and its message. The fate now carries me, and my fellow countrymen to seek a new home for this series; in the meantime, thanks to all the fans who have given love to us and to the series. Thanks so much, we want to find a new place where more can still be done, the mission is this and we are dealing with”.

The cast includes Peter Serafinowicz (Guardians of the Galaxy, Parks and Recreation), Griffin Newman (Search Party), Jackie Earle Haley (Preacher), Valorie Curry (The Following), Yara Martinez (Jane the Virgin, True Detective), Brendan Hines (Suits, Scorpion), Scott Speiser (The Young and the Restless) and Michael Cerveris (The Good Wife). The executive producers are Ben Edlund (creator of the comic The Tick), Barry Josephson (Bones) and David Fury (Buffy the Vampire Slayer). The Tick is a co-production with Sony Pictures Television. The director is Wally Pfister (The Dark Knight)
