The Suicide Squad: the tone will be different from the previous film

Published on Sep 21, 2019

Interviewed during the promotion of the new movie that sees between the protagonists, Semper Fi, Jai Courtney has had the opportunity to talk about the new movie about the Suicide Squad, this time directed by James Gunn.

“It's fun that we're doing another movie about the Suicide Squad and there is a lot of new people, along with a few ‘old’ last film,” explains Courtney in the Comicbook “Will surely be totally different, but I think that we will accept all the new challenge with energy and enthusiasm. I loved David, I loved working with him and I would work immediately with him again, but Gunn is brilliant and definitely knows what to do. I am excited to see where it will lead us to his work, the film will have a different tone but it will be equally beautiful. All the context you wanted to than as had left him, there will be the point of view of this new situation and it will be great”.

On Twitter, writer Tom Taylor has also circulated some details on a new character, the villain called the Lok. “Harley Quinn hates it and probably will you too,” reads the tweet.
