The Promised Neverland: the date of Season 2 and the movie live-action
Through the pages of the double number 4-5 of the Weekly Shonen Jump, which is available in Japan for purchase from Monday 23 December 2019, we learn in advance that the second season of the animated of The Promised Neverland, an adaptation of the manga written by Kaiu Shirai and designed by Posuka Demizu, will debut in October 2020, and events will resume immediately with the arc post-escape from the farm of Grace's Field House.
In addition, the advances of the double number we are informed that the first film's live-action inspired, as always, at the end of success will debut in japanese movie theatres on 18 December 2020.

In the meantime, concretely, recall that the first season of the animated of The Promised Neverland, produced by CloverWorks with the direction of Mamoru Kanbe, was broadcast between January and march 2019, with total of 12 episodes total. It is visible in Italy legally, for free and with subtitles in Italian on VVVVID.
Relatively to the film, a live-action, instead, directed by Yûichirô Hirakawa (the Live-Action “Erased”) and a screenplay by Noriko Gotou (the Live-Action “Erased”), Emma will be played by Minami Hamabe, Ray Jyo Donald and Norman from Rihito Itagaki.
It will be the adaptation of the manga, and presumably the first arc of the narrative devoted to the escape of the children from Grace's Field House.
Emma, Norman and Ray live happily since birth in an orphanage, surrounded by a dense forest, cared for by a loving “mom”. Their illusion of normalcy falls apart when they discover what really happens to those who leave the house to be “adopted”, and what's behind it is the wall that delimits the forest: the kids do not remains that wits to try to escape. Begins a deadly game of cat and mouse!
The Promised Neverland is written by Kaiu Shirai and designed by Posuka Demizu on the pages of the weekly magazine of Weekly Shonen Jump, from 1 August 2016. The manga currently has come to the chapter number 161, with 16 volumes published.
In Italy the work is published by J-POP with the first 12 volumes are available.
On the 4th of June 2018 has been released in Japan and online stores in the first light novel inspired by the manga. The story is focused on co-star Norman, who, on the day of his expedition, talks about his memories lived with Emma and the other children of the orphanage, Grace Field House through a letter addressed to them. The novel is written from Nanao. The second, focused on the mother Isabella and sister Krone, is available from the 4 January 2019.
Produced by CloverWorks, the first animated series inspired by the manga has been aired in Japan from January to march 2019. In Italy it is visible legally with subtitles in Italian through the streaming platform VVVVID. The second anime series will come in 2020.
TOHO on 18 December 2020 and will distribute in the japanese cinemas of the first film, a live-action with real actors in flesh and bones, inspired by the manga series.
