The Promised Neverland: information on the final next week
Through the first information surfaced online about the number 44 of Weekly Shonen Jump, which is available in Japan from September 30, 2019, we learn that Shueisha will reveal an important announcement dedicated to The Promised Neverland in the next issue, number 45, October 7, 2019.
The 7 October will therefore be the scenario an important announcement for the manga series written by Kaiu Shirai and designed by Posuka Demizu which will focus on information related to the climax of the story arc end in the course from September 2018.
At the moment we do not know if the announcement will be the occasion of the date of the conclusion of the manga, although there might be a chance, as at last August Shueisha has given way to a stream promotional of the chapters of the manga close to the climax. The Promised Neverland will be on the cover of number 45 of Weekly Shonen Jump and the 4 October 2019 will be released in Japan, the volume 16 of the works.
Emma, Norman and Ray live happily since birth in an orphanage, surrounded by a dense forest, cared for by a loving “mom”. Their illusion of normalcy falls apart when they discover what really happens to those who leave the house to be “adopted”, and what's behind it is the wall that delimits the forest: the kids do not remains that wits to try to escape. Begins a deadly game of cat and mouse!
The Promised Neverland is written by Kaiu Shirai and designed by Posuka Demizu on the pages of the weekly magazine of Weekly Shonen Jump, from 1 August 2016. The manga currently has come to the chapter number 151, with 15 volumes published.
In Italy the work is published by J-POP with the first 11 volumes available.
On the 4th of June 2018 has been released in Japan and online stores in the first light novel inspired by the manga. The story is focused on co-star Norman, who, on the day of his expedition, talks about his memories lived with Emma and the other children of the orphanage, Grace Field House through a letter addressed to them. The novel is written from Nanao. The second, focused on the mother Isabella and sister Krone, is available from the 4 January 2019.
Produced by CloverWorks, the first animated series inspired by the manga has been aired in Japan from January to march 2019. In Italy it is visible legally with subtitles in Italian through the streaming platform VVVVID. The second series will come in 2020.
