John Amos will be back for the sequel of The prince seeks a wife. Amos, who played a key part in the first film, is one of the many actors already announced for the eagerly-awaited sequel. Released in 1988, the film is played by Eddie Murphy, probably at the height of popularity at that period, who plays Akeem, a prince of the fictional african nation of Zamunda. When she discovers that her parents have arranged a marriage with a woman who does not know, Akeem rebels.
