The next models of the MacBook Pro 13-inch might use Intel chips in the Ice of the 10th-generation

According to many reports, Apple is working on an updated version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro following the launch of the new MacBook Pro by 16 inches in October, and the new machines by 13-inch may adopt chip Ice Lake of the tenth generation of Intel.

During the week-end, a leaker of Twitter has shared a benchmark on a machine that is said to be the new model of MacBook Pro equipped with a chip i7-1068NG7 Ice Lake 2.3 GHz to the tenth generation with feature turbo boost 4.1 GHz (via Wccftech).

The benchmarks compare the new chip to the tenth generation with the chip Core i5 the eighth-generation 2.4-GHz 13-inch MacBook Pro high-end 2019, and suggest that the new 13-inch Pro will be about 12 percent faster than the current 13-inch MacBook Pro, when it comes to CPU speed, and nearly 30 percent faster when it comes to GPU performance.

If Apple release a 13-inch MacBook Pro with the above-mentioned chip Ice Lake, will be the first Apple notebook that has a chip to the 10th generation. Although not included in the leak, an update of the MacBook Pro by 16-inch in 2020, also could include chip tenth generation, although it is expected that the machines 16-inch will use the chip-Comet Lake-based architecture 14 ++ - nm.

According to some rumors, Apple will release a 13-inch MacBook Pro up to date in the first half of 2020, maybe during the event of march. Together with the Intel chips in its tenth generation, the new machines should have the keyboard scissor improved, introduced for the first time in the MacBook Pro by 16-inch, along with the option to upgrade to 32 GB of RAM.
