The new iPhone with Touch ID integrated in the display inbox only for the chinese market?

In a recent report, circulated on several chinese websites, Apple is reportedly considering producing a new iPhone exclusively for the chinese market with the Touch ID integrated into the display.

Apple is experiencing a lot of difficulties in China, given the fierce competition from other local manufacturers like Oppo and Huawei. The competitors, in fact, point to prices that are very lower, so in order to compete, Apple is reportedly planning to reduce the costs of the iPhone, removing the Face ID. In 2019 in a smartphone, you can not miss a security system, so instead of facial recognition, according to the report in question, Apple is reportedly planning to integrate the Touch ID below the display of the iPhone.

The iPhone sold in China are still of the differences in hardware, compared to the rest of the world. The iPhone XS and XR, for example, have two slots for the SIM, while in other countries the second SIM is virtual. This, however, does not justify the enormous costs of research and development, necessary to implement the Touch ID below the display, then if the model would be sold exclusively in China.

Unlikely we'll see this alleged new model in 2019, because the famous analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has now “confirmed” the lineup of iPhone this year. According to the rumors, in fact, we expect the successors of the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR, all with the OLED screen.
