Not only English in schools of chinese among the languages most studied, there is also the Italian. A language that is increasingly appreciated and a network for the teaching that it consolidates. It is estimated that in China, more than 3,000 chinese students participating in the program “Marco Polo – Turandot”, the initiative created by the Crui (Conference of Rectors of Italian) to strengthen scientific cooperation between Italy and Asia, and increase the presence of chinese students in Italian universities. More than 40,000, on the other hand, chinese students who learn Italian in Italy, view, often, of an academic path that they intend to engage in the university of excellence in italy. The study of the Italian language is often associated to the institutes which teach the subjects in which Italy excels, such as fashion, design, technology, food, art and cinema, which attract chinese students who want to deepen their knowledge in our Country. The Italian School of the Embassy. The Italian you do not learn, however, only in the chinese capital. Uni-Italia, center for the accademic promotion and orientation of study in Italy has opened its first office in China in 2015 in Chongqing, one of the stages of the upcoming visit to China of the president of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella. In the city symbol of the “new frontier” of china, with a growth rate of, on average, higher than in the rest of the Country, there are already hundreds of students of Italian. On the side of education for the children, the teaching of Italian can count, and finally, from 2015, also on the Italian School of the Embassy, in Beijing, within the compound of the diplomatic San Li Tun, the most dynamic of the chinese capital. Officially inaugurated by the then minister of Foreign affairs, Paolo Gentiloni, during a visit to China in April 2015, the Italian School of the Embassy is a project initiated by the Embassy of Italy in Beijing, in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China, and officially opened its doors on the occasion of the school year 2015-2016. The institute avails itself of the scientific collaboration of Reggio Children, the international centre for the defence and promotion of the rights and potential of girls and boys born in 1994, and it has a section for children and one for the courses of elementary school. The Dante Alighieri society has since 2004 a Beijing-based, long one of the busiest thoroughfares of the capital city of china, Dongzhimen Wai Da Jie, not far from the Embassy of Italy in Beijing and another in Hong Kong, but there are many schools and courses teaching Italian at all levels in China.
