The Mandalorian 2: the release date will not be postponed
The world of cinema has undergone a major downsizing due to the global pandemic, halting production and delaying continuously the outputs; for each new project, therefore, there is now the fear that can be postponed.
As confirmed by the CEO of Disney, Bob Chapek, however, in spite of a general emergency the release of Star Wars: The Mandalorian 2 Disney+ will not be postponed, since it's already in post-production before the disaster.
“At Disney we're still feeding the machine, in this period you can still pre-production and post-production, only the movie in mid-production were blocked.
The second season of The Mandalorian was shot before the emergency to arrive, so we are currently in the phase of post-production and there will be no postponements; the same for Black Widow, which comes out in November,” says Chapek in an interview.
As we know, in the second season of The Mandalorian appears Boba Fett, played by Temuera Morrison (perhaps also involved in another role).
In Star Wars: The Mandalorian, Pedro Pascal is the lone gunman mandaloriano in the outskirts of the galaxy and will be joined by Gina Carano (Deadpool) who plays Cara Dunes, and Carl Weathers in the role of Greef, a man who runs a guild of bounty hunters that takes on the Mandalorian for a specific job.
