The Mandalorian 2: Robert Rodriguez, and Peyton Reed confirmed as director
The Star Wars Day (4 may) was an opportunity for the filmmakers Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, Spy Kids) and Peyton Reed (Ant-Man) to confirm that they will be behind the camera on season 2 of The Mandalorian, the first live-action series of the saga available on Disney+.
The announcement came from a tweet of the two directors. In the first, Rodriguez posed with Baby Yoda, writing, “I Am truly honored to say that I have the rare privilege of directing the biggest star of the universe”. Reed, however, is limited to post the photos of the director's seat with his name and above the helmet of the mandaloriano.
In season 2 of The Madalorian, planned for the autumn on Disney +, will arrive as a new entry Rosario Dawson, Michael Biehn and Bill Burr next to the cast confirmed that Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog, Nick Nolte, Julia Jones and Ming-Na Wen.
In the meantime, work has already started for season 3 and a new film of the saga for the film was announced with director Taika Waititi.
