Via a post on Twitter, Amazon Prime has announced when it will be set the highly anticipated television series of the Lord of The Rings: exactly, in the Second Era, about 3000 years before the events of the film saga. In a previous interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon Studios, talked about the production of the series of the Lord of The Rings, talking about all round about the possible date of arrival and on the content.

“It will be in production in two years, the hope is to get it to wave to 2021,” says Salke, “In many push even for 2020.
