The last co-founder of Siri leaves Apple for personal reasons
Tom Gruber, the last member of the original team who conceived and developed the Syrians decided to leave Apple, as reported on The Information, to devote himself to his personal passions and their own research.
Tom Gruber has decided that from now on we will devote all his time to his passion of photography and in the interest of conservation of the oceans. Gruber was the last element of the team that brought you Siri, the voice assistant included on every iPhone since 2012 when it was first introduced with iPhone 4S with iOS 5.
The other two founders, Dag Kittlaus and Adam Cheyer, has left the company a few years ago because of their thought is contrary to the direction that Apple wanted to give it to Siri.
Surely this scene will change a little in the house Apple, by now, team Siri is operational and followed by Craig Federighi and also just last week Apple announced that it has joined the team of Siri and Machine Learning, with an ex-google John Giannandrea as Chief of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, who will report their news directly to the CEO, Tim Cook.
