The iPhone camera is the most used on Flickr
As usual, Flickr has released yesterday the annual statistical reports of the year 2017 from note-sharing community photos.
Among these reports there are also three classifications related to the 25 best photos of the year, but also of the devices and the brand most used on its platform. Well, once again Apple is the brand most used by the users to take photographs, with an incredible 54% of the photos taken from an iPhone. To follow well-known brands in the field of photography such as Canon and Nikon, which amounted to respectively 23% and 18%.
The iPhone used to snap and share photos on Flickr are all models of the most obsolete like iPhone 6, iPhone 6s and iPhone 5s. The iPhone deal with so 9 of the 10 positions of the top 10 with only the Canon 5D Mark III to represent devices not produced by Apple.
Interesting to also take a look at the data relating to categories of devices, with smartphones occupying a percentage equal to 50% compared to all the other devices that are dedicated to photography. The signal as now for many users the smartphone has become not only an inseparable companion of all the days, but also the preferred device for taking your own photographs.
