The excellence of the Italian wine and food scene at the Festival Agrirock
From Tuesday 26th June until the 4th of July scene is the Collision Festival in Barolo, an event that is part of the project Wine&Food.
The tenth edition of the Festival in the framework of the project the Wine&Food of Collision, headed by the senior Editor of Vinous Ian D'agata, Barolo an entire week in which the protagonists will be the wine and the culinary excellence of the Italian regions with producers, companies, Associations, consortiums, wine shops, and institutions.
The Festival Agrirock animated by music, literature and film meet the best of made in Italy with the wines and food envied by the world, the event was designed with a dual soul, one part dating 2B2 addressed to professionals, sommeliers, producers, companies, journalists, food and wine, world-famous in the halls of the castle of Barolo.
The other side events dedicated to the public, to the lovers of good wine and good food, and moments in which to listen to the stories of wine, agricultural products, stories of producers, but also concerts, conferences with writers.
An event with more than seventy international guests from the world of food&wine, sommeliers, opinion leaders, restaurateurs, journalists, buyers, many issues that they will face in workshops, speed dates, round tables, common to know the excellence of food and wine of more than sixteen region of Italy.
Among the names confirmed for this edition: Alexander Peh, Beverage Director at the Four Seasons Singapore; Mariarosa Presents, Head Sommelier for the Tide of New York; Tushar Borah, Head Sommelier of Burj Al Arab; Susan Gordon, publisher of food&wine Forbes; Jason Yamasaki, Head Sommelier of Chambar in Vancouver; Evan Watson, owner of Clementine, Toronto; Ian Halbert, Wine Director, importer and distributor of Gordon's of New England, and many others, this year also a small representation of the sommelier of the michelin star restaurants in italy.
