The director of Ghost Rider 2 bored by the Marvel movies
Interviewed by ComicBook.com Alan Taylor, co-director of Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance along with Mark Neveldine, said: “I do Not understand at all the films of Marvel Studios. I have to be honest, I always seem too long. I have to be very careful what I say. Simply don't understand them. I am bored and can not find them particularly funny. I believe that they are well-made in terms of professionalism. The action scenes are very beautiful. Technically they are fantastic. There are a lot of actors that I love. But don't understand them.”
“On the one hand, I like to do movies prohibited to minors. They don't make many. Logan – The Wolverine and Deadpool were great. I believe that the cinecomics prohibited to minors can operate and can be fantastic. I don't know why the Suicide Squad is not forbidden to minors. To me it seemed obvious that it should be.”
Taylor has also directed some episodes of the tv series Happy!, from the comics of Grant Morrison, and wrote the film, Jonah Hex, released in 2010.
