Variety reports an analysis of the marketing carried out by Jumpshot, according to which The Defenders series is the Marvel-Netflix less seen by subscribers.

In its first thirty days on Netflix, the series has only got 17% of the audience of the second season of Daredevil. Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones have obtained respectively 28, 27 and 26 percent of the audience in the first thirty days on Netflix compared to the second season of Daredevil.

A blind ninja, a detective, arrogant, an ex-convict to bullet proof and a billionaire Kung Fu expert. Marvel's The Defenders, tells the story of four heroes out of the ordinary forced to put aside personal issues to form an alliance against a cult of crime that threatens to destroy New York.

Marvel's The Defenders show in the cast Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Finn Jones (Danny Rand/Iron Fist), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Eka Darville (Malcolm), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeri Hogarth), Simone Missick (Misty Knight), Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Scott Glenn (Stick), and Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple). In the series should appear as well as Jon Bernthal in the role of Frank Castle, aka the Punisher. The Golden Globe winner Sigourney Weaver will be the villain.

Marco Ramirez and Doug Petrie (Marvel's Daredevil) will be the showrunner and executive producers, together with Drew Goddard, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory.
