The Big Bang Theory: Kaley Cuoco wants to reboot

Published on Jan 08, 2019

In an interview with Nancy O'dell of Entertainment Tonight during the recent Golden Globes, one of the stars of The Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco (Penny), she admitted to not yet be ready to close with the series, and be available and ready for a reboot.

“Recently, many are doing the reboot, we could do it too, maybe in a year,” in the words of Cook, “Thinking of how you will turn the last episode, I laughed, I thought, ‘really we're shooting the last episode of all of this?’ I hope you are able to use the material you shot before, because I believe there will be many tears. It will be tough to shut it all out, I love the whole production and the cast and we were all set for a long time, almost every day. All good things end and, even though we all love the series, and we love one another, we completely agree with the choice, a decision made by adults. We really grew up together”.

During the evening, Johnny Galecki (Leonard) has had the opportunity to comment on what will be the last time in the series, speaking Extra: “There will be lots of mixed emotions, a bittersweet moment with surely so many tears”.

The choice of closure was induced, mainly, by the will of Jim Parsons finally leaving the role of Sheldon: these are his previous words to Entertainment Weekly, where he explains his motivations.

“It's complicated, and at the same time simple when you feel inside that you have reached the end,” the actor explains, “there was no motivation negative behind my decision, we have done great things for years and could continue to do it, but from my point of view was expressed around the potential that the series was able to unleash. Also speaking personally, I think it's the right decision at the right time of my life. I don't know what will be my professional future, I find myself half my life and now is the time to not put more t-shirts . In a sense, what is exciting, what will be the next chapter of my life? What will be the next adventure for all of us?”.

Definitely, close with a past, so satisfactory is not easy: “I'll be really sad when I see the last episode, even knowing that I will be at peace with myself, and that things go as they should go. When people graduated is happy, but at the same time, it might cry because it closes a path and it is not easy to say goodbye to people with whom you have shared a piece of life for so many years.”

On the closing of The Big Bang Theory, you are obviously also expressed WBTV and Chuck Lorre Productions, in a joint statement that has previously officially announced the closing of the historical american sitcom.”We will be eternally grateful to the fans of The Big Bang Theory for the support and affection they gave us season after season. We, along with the cast, the writers and the whole crew, we will always be grateful for the success he's had in the series and we aim to produce a season that brings the series to a close in epic way” .

The series starring Johnny Galecki (Leonard Hofstadter), Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper), Kaley Cuoco (Penny), Simon Helberg (Howard Wolowitz), Sara Gilbert (Leslie Winkle), Melissa Rauch (Bernadette Rostenkowski), Mayim Bialik (Amy Farrah Fowler), Kevin Sussman (Stuart Bloom), Laura Spencer (Emily Sweeney).
