The Batman: Jon Hamm in the running to replace Ben Affleck
As previously reported, Ben Affleck will return in the role of Batman in Flashpoint, but it is highly unlikely that it can interpret the Dark Knight in the next standalone directed by Matt Reeves (The War – The Planet of the Apes).
According to Radar Online, Jon Hamm (Mad Men, Baby Driver) would like to replace Affleck, and he has already had discussions with Reeves about the role.
Jon Hamm, however, has 46 years old, and our sources say that Reeves would take a young talent in the role of Batman. This could mean that the film will take place before the events of Batman v Superman.
The new script should be written by Mark Bomback, collaborator Reeves in the movie of the Planet of The Apes.
Affleck has made his debut in the role of the Dark Knight in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and will return in Justice League.
