The Attack of the Giants: the end of the third season, created by Isayama
The third season of the animated de The Attack of the Giants, inspired by the manga written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama, began in July 2018 and then suddenly stop in October of the same year and the final was something that greatly attracted the attention while leaving everyone with a big question, especially for those who does not follow the manga series.
The final scene of which we speak has been revealed in the acknowledgments of the last episode of the third season, bringing out a context of bloody and terror due to a collision that has generated an experience creepy. This same scene in the teaser is not directly related to the shooting of the third season, scheduled for April 2019, but is a flashforward that, in fact, the series will snap in the course of the transposition of the narrative arc back to Shiganshina, and of the reconquest of Wall Maria.
We have specified that it is a scene directed to the recovery of events, so why insert it in advance and who came up with the idea? To talk about it, we have thought the directors of the anime, Tetsuro Araki, and Masashi Koizuka, at Wit Studio, the microphones of Animedia.
Translated for westerners by SNK News, the two directors were particularly impressed by this teaser so much so that they did not believe their eyes.
Commenting on the inclusion of this scene in surprise as anticipation to recovery, Araki has stated that it was the same as Hajime Isayama, the creator of the manga, to suggest that that part was added (as it was originally represented in the work paper). Here are the words of the japanese filmmaker:
“The first part ends with the Body of Research as it moves into the next battle for the recapture of Wall Maria, but we thought it was a final, a little too quiet. Therefore, as soon as we revealed the intention to make things more spicy for the fans, Isayama has proposed to adapt this time as a teaser“.
The director also specified that if it had not been for the mangaka, the production would not have thought to add such a gory scene.
“If Isayama had not proposed, we would have never translated that scene as a preview. Fans will agree on the fact that that moment was the perfect race to make them satisfied and to prepare for the recovery“.
This teaser was shown at the end of episode 49 of the anime, which shows a Levi bloodied and disagree with Eren for a reason unknown. Driven by the complicated moment, Levi hits it in the face Eren, but Mikasa comes immediately to the rescue by pointing his blade at the neck of the captain. You can watch it below:
