Telegram start the transition to the app written in Swift: it will be faster and consume less battery
Last January, a Telegram has released a new application called Telegram X. with Respect to the app traditional (Telegram Messenger), the first is developed entirely in Swift, and then turns out to be faster, more reliable, and easier to update.
Today, the founder of Telegram, Pavel Durov, announced that the transition to the app in Swift is begun. This means that from now on, efforts will be focused on this other version that is faster and consumes less battery than the one in Objective-C.
The user essentially will not have to do anything. Pavel announced that a week or two, they will be releasing an update to the Standard application in the App Store, transforming it directly into the one written in Swift.
