Sygic features integration with CarPlay Apple
Sygic has announced that its app satellite navigation for iPhone will soon be integrated into CarPlay with a lot of offline maps. Here are all the details.
The announcement was made by the CEO of Sygic, Martin Strigac, on the occasion of the Mobile World Congress Americas in Los Angeles. In fact, Sygic is the first company specialized in navigation systems to offer offline maps for Apple's CarPlay.
Combining the iPhone to a vehicle with support for Apple's CarPlay, app, Sygic will not be handled by the device, but will automatically be projected on the touch screen of the vehicle and connected to the voice commands, allowing the driver to keep their eyes on the road and hands on the steering wheel.
The security features of the app Sygic, available now on the Apple CarPlay, including offline maps, in-time alerts about new speed limits, navigation predictive information on traffic, lane assistant to change lanes more safely, voice navigation and traffic information in real time, with updates every two minutes.
Another feature is the ability to automatically synchronize the maps and navigation preferences of Sygic with any vehicle-enabled Apple CarPlay.
The connectivity CarPlay is available on Sygic GPS Navigation and Sygic Car Navigation with the latest version of iOS.
