Stranger Things: the new poster pays tribute to The Home of Sam Raimi
To promote the arrival of the highly-anticipated second season of Stranger Things, Netflix has released a series of posters that pay homage to the films and novels of the ’80s, including the Alien and Nightmare. Now, it's up to The House of Sam Raimi, the horror genre cult and was released in 1981, already appeared in the first season under the form of a poster in the bedroom of Will.
The poster depicts Joyce (Winona Ryder) dragged in Upside down from the Demogorgon in an homage to the classic poster of The Evil Dead (La Casa).
The second season, set in 1984, will consist of nine episodes and will be again produced by Matt and Ross Duffer, the creators of the series.
In the cast will return Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Cara Buono, Charlie Heaton and Matthew Modine. The new entry will be Sadie Sink (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Dacre Montgomery (the Red Ranger in the movie Power Rangers), Brett Gelman (Blunt Talk, The Other Guys), the newcomer Linnea Berthelsen, Sean Astin (The Goonies, the Lord of The Rings) and Paul Reiser (Aliens – the Final Clash).
Among the executive producers include Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen for 21 Laps entertainment (A night at the museum, Real Steel).
