Published on Jan 01, 2019

Starts off with a bang 2019 for Netflix without further ado has released a new poster of the third long-awaited season of Stranger Things and also revealing the date of debut on the platform, July 4, 2019, along with a video that, as usual, it might hide some clues about the plots of the season.

During the ceremony of the Emmy Awards (in which Stranger Things has received twelve nominations) the film director and executive producer Shawn Levy has confirmed the tone “darker” of the third season of the series on Netflix, promising a lot of sentimentality and humor.

All elements which, according to him, are being translated very well in the production. In a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, however, Finn Wolfhard has stressed the importance of the sentimental aspect, defining series set “in a summer full of love-1985”. The fifteen-year-old then held the mouth is tightly sewn to the other information considering that, as he admitted, the scripts are delivered almost on a daily basis during the filming.

Returning to the Levy, the executive producer has also left to assume,in answer to a question, a possible return of the Mind Flayer (or Illithid) with vague allusions: “it's a sort of lord for the Demogorgon, I think his power is stronger and can be in-depth. In addition to this, I can not say more without getting into.”

In the cast are Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers), David Harbour (Jim Hopper), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Cara Buono (Karen Wheeler), Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers), Joe Keery (Steve Harrington), Dacre Montgomery (Billy), Sadie Sink (Max), Jake Busey (Bruce), and Cary Elwes (the mayor Kline).
