Star Wars: Kieron Gillen leaves the series
After about 30 numbers, the writer Kieron Gillen has announced his farewell to the series comics Marvel dedicated to Star Wars: Star Wars #67 (scheduled for may 2019), which will coincide with the end of The Scourging of Shu-Torun, the writer will lay off, therefore, from the public which had welcomed him on Star Wars #38 in November 2017, after nearly two years.
“With the end of the stories of The Scourging of Shu-Torun and, therefore, with Star Wars #67, I will leave the series,” wrote Gillen recently on his newsletter Word Email, “I have No plans to work on other projects of Star Wars, at least as far as comics, I think I've given you everything, at the moment, with these characters”.
Kieron Gillen, before entering in to Star Wars with issue #38, he had already written other stories in the franchise comics working on Darth Vader and launching Dr. Behn.
