With the renewed popularity of the franchise and the instant success of Star Trek: Picard, you asked William Shatner if he was interested in resuming the iconic role of Captain James T. Kirk.

William Shatner played the Captain of the USS Enterprise in the three historical seasons that make up the so-called classic series between 1966 and 1969 and in the subsequent film related to it.
Shatner was also the protagonist of the first kiss interracial of the history of american television kissing lieutenant Uhura, the actress of color, Nichelle Nichols.
The last appearance of Shatner in the role of Kirk dates back to the film Star Trek: Generations (1994).
