Spotify gains support for Siri on iOS 13, and CarPlay

Spotify today updated its mobile app to include support for Siri, which means that iPhone users, and iPad running iOS 13 can now use Siri to control their music streaming service favorite, just like the subscribers of Apple's Music.

After you have updated the app, users must simply invoke Siri on their device and ask the voice assistant to play an album or a song “with Spotify“. The commands for playback of playlist work the same way.

According to the release notes, Spotify, support Siri is compatible with the AirPods and also extends to CarPlay and HomePod via AirPlay. On the iPhone and iPad with iOS 13, the app now will also turn on its function of Saving data when a device has the mode “limited Consumption data” enabled.

In addition, the streaming service says that Spotify is “now available on Apple TV, even if it is not displayed in the App Store tvOS at the time, then it is likely that the launch is expected for the day.
