Holland had previously reported that would not have been able to do a film with Venom, as it was not part of the MCU; now, perhaps he could...

Meanwhile, Kevin Feige has always said to EW:

“I feel gratitude and joy for Spider-Man,” said Feige to Entertainment Weekly. “We have made five films within the MCU with Spider-Man: two independent films, and three with the Avengers. It was a dream that I never thought that could happen. It was never meant to last forever. We knew that there was a limited amount of time in which we would have been able to do this, and we told the story we wanted to tell, and I will always be grateful for that.”
