Spider-Man: a film about Madame Web?
The cinematic universe of Spider-Man, Sony is developing a movie about Madame Web with the writers of Morbius Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. In recent years, Sony Pictures has developed a number of films based on the Marvel Comics characters of which holds the film rights.
Sony has in fact many Marvel movies in various stages of development. A movie about Morbius, played by Jared Leto, will arrive in cinemas in July 2020, while Venom 2 is in the works, with director Andy Serkis and Tom Hardy. In addition to an animated sequel to the devoted Spider-Man is a spin-off to the female, Sony also action film in development based on characters such as Silk, Black Cat, Silver Sable, Kraven, and many others. Now, Sony is developing another Marvel movies, this time on Madame Web. Sony has declined to comment on the project, but Collider reports that Palak Patel the oversight.
Madame Web was created by Denny O'neil and John Romita Jr. as a secondary character to Spider-Man in the ’80s. His real name is Cassandra Webb; the character is depicted as an elderly woman connected to a life support system that looks like a spider web. Madame Web is a clairvoyant capable of telepathy and foreknowledge. In addition to the comics, Madame Web, as she is also in the animated series of Spider-Man, voiced by Joan Lee, the wife of the co-creator of Spider-Man, and legend, Marvel's Stan Lee. Now that Sony and Marvel have now parted their ways, it seems that Sony wants to build an expanded universe around her.
