Sony XG95, XG90 and XG85: new Android TV with Dolby Vision
Sony has brought to CES 2019 many news regarding the new range of TV. In addition to the 8K ZG9, and to the OLED AG9 and AG8 have also been announced, the LCD Ultra HD XG95, XG90 and XG85. XG95 is available in denominations of 55", 65", 75" and 85". All the models use a backlight Full LED with local dimming X-Tended Dynamic Range Pro. The video processor is the X1 the Ultimate, the same that we find on ZG9 and AG9. The specifications are the same: Super-Resolution, “object-based”, re-mastering HDR “object-based”, Super Bit Mapping 4K HDR and processing of the signal by double the database.
On models 75" and 85" is the proposed technology X-Wide Angle lens, a filter that reduces the distortion of colors when you look at the screen from a position angled. For the management of images in rapid motion, was, instead, integrated technology, X-Motion Clarity.
Compatibility with HDR is of course present and includes formats HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision. The platform Smart TV is composed of the Android TV version of the Oreo with Google Assistant, and the support for AirPlay 2 and HomeKit.
