Snapchat closes his payment service Snapcash
Snapchat has officially announced the closure of its payment service, Snapcash, which allows users to transfer money just like Apple Pay Cash.
Snapcash is born from the collaboration between Snapchat and Square, to allow users of the famous social network of exchanging money in a quick and safe way. Currently, however, there are many similar services, offered for example by PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, and also from the same Apple with Apple Pay Cash.
In the last few hours came the official press release from the PR team of Snapchat, in which they confirmed the closure of Snapcash on August 30, 2018. Snapchat would like to thank all users for having used their service in months and the same Square for the collaboration made.
This seems to be another bad sign for the fate of Snapchat. The novelties introduced by this company are constantly shooting out from the competition, making the growth of this service very difficult. The new user interface of the application has certainly not found the desired results, making it even less user friendly.
