The Hollywood Reporter indicates that the actor Gary Oldman, already winner of an Oscar, has signed on to star in the series of espionage Apple TV+ entitled Slow Horses, based on the novel of the author, Mick Herron, Slough House. Oldman is destined to play the role of Jackson Lamb, who is described as the leader, the brilliant but irascible of a group of spies.

Even if they are on the margins of their organization, there is one thing they all have in common, that is, a return to action. And most of them would do anything to get there, even if it meant to work together.
The series will be written by Will Smith (Veep, Avenue 5), which will also act as executive producer along with Graham Yost (Justifies, The Americans), Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Gail Mutrux and Douglas Urbanski. The series will be a production of See-Saw Films.
