Skewers, corn on the cob and mozzarella

The skewers of shrimp and mozzarella cheese are a perfect starter for the summer period, in order to serve the corn on the cob in a different way from the usual and bring to the table a plate full of color. You can have fun playing with the ingredients, changing them or by changing the proportions until you find the perfect combination for you. With this vegetarian dish, light but full of flavor, you will put cheer to all your guests! Ideal for the grilling of August, these skewers corn on the cob will bring color and flavor on your table 😉

First of all clean on-the-cob (just delete the leaves and filaments).
Then place them in a pot full of water, with a bit of salt and baking soda, bring to a boil and cook for about 1 hour(test the cooking with a fork).

Drain corn and grill on a grill very hot for a few minutes, then cut them into slices.

Assembled and then the skewers, alternating the slices of corn on the cob with mozzarella, tomatoes and chili peppers.

Add a pinch of salt and if you want a drizzle of olive oil and serve immediately with the sauce of corn and mozzarella.
