Many singers and actors in italy have adhered to the manifesto against the minister of Interior and deputy prime minister Matteo Salvini. On the contrary, Rolling Stone Italy has wanted to clearly send an important message to the leader of the League, of which the last decisions are discussed across Europe. In the editorial, in addition, it is possible to read: “We are forced to rearguard battles, on issues that we considered now the heritage that is shared and unquestionable. The so-called ‘new’ are in fact ancient, and dangerous, cynically prepared to exploit fears and irrational”.
Have been called a collection of many well-known names in the world of entertainment, film and music to line up against Salvini. Have joined this initiative different singers: Emma Marrone, Negramaro, Elisa, Caparezza, The welfare State, Gazelles, Lele Sacchi, Roy Paci, Gemitaiz, Mauro Pagani, Motta, Thomas Paradise, Vasco Brondi, Hernia, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, Tedua, and Selton. Also the actors are very well known, have not pulled back: Carolina Crescentini, Marcello Source, Daniele Vicari and Gabriele Muccino. There are also names of writers and presenters on tv and radio: Michele Serra, Daria Bignardi, Linus, Costantino della Gherardesca, and Sandro Veronesi. More than 200 intellectuals and professionals of various industry, meanwhile, have signed a letter of protest against the policies of the executive League-the M5s on migrants. Now this list is continuously updated and the number of signatures increasing more and more. In the meantime, also other characters of the show have had their say on this, siding in favor of this government. For example, we are talking about Riccardo Scamarcio, who revealed: “I absolutely don't agree with those who simplify by saying that this is a racist government”.
