Silver & Black: the production is postponed indefinitely

That Hashtag Show reports that the production of the Silver & Black, the spin-off of Spider-Man focused on Silver Sable and Black Cat, is postponed indefinitely. The shooting of the film were planned in Atlanta and in Mexico.

The film will be directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood. Chris Yost, writer of Thor: Ragnarok, and Lisa Joy, co-creator of Westworld, have written the first drafts of the screenplay. Recently have been engaged by Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Sherlock Holmes 3, Tomb Raider, Captain Marvel, Dungeons & Dragons) and Lindsey Beer (Barbie, Godzilla vs. Kong, Dungeons & Dragons) have recently been hired by Sony to rewrite the film. It is not surprising, therefore, be a delay in production.

Were released the first details about the plot:

Silver Sable, aka Silver Sablinova, is a bounty hunter in search of the Black Cat, whose real name is Felicia Hardy, a skilled thief. Felicia is connected to Mendel Stromm that Sable hates because of some of the experiments on his fellow countrymen Symkariani. The Black Cat makes use of a device he stole Stromm and Sable wants to capture her in an attempt to get to him. The scientist, in turn, hires Scorpion, and Tarantula to kill the Black Cat and regain his device.

The film will be produced by Matt Tolmach and Amy Pascal.

Silver & Black should be the second film of the Spider-verse Sony after Venom, directed by Ruben Fleischer, with Tom Hardy in the lead role. In processing the film on Kraven the Hunter and Mysterio. The project would be to arrive at the ensemble of the Sinister Six.
