She-Hulk: the TV series will respect the origins of the character
With Marvel Studios is expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Disney+, a description of the casting for the series She-Hulk has revealed new details about the origins of the superhero.
The series is looking for a woman between the ages of 26 and 34 years of age without any breed specified in order to interpret the main character, Jennifer Walters. Just like his origin in the comic in 1980, Savage She-Hulk n. 1 of Stan Lee and John Buscema, the character is a lawyer who acquires his powers after receiving a blood transfusion with gamma radiation from her cousin Bruce Banner.
It is not clear if Mark Ruffalo will reprise his role as Banner, but the mention of his character and the interest of Ruffalo to return in the MCU suggest his involvement.
It is interesting to note that the description of the casting call also mentions She-Hulk as a future Avenger, alluding to the return of the Heroes the most powerful of the MCU, although with a team very different from that seen in Avengers: Endgame. This may indicate that the heroes television Disney+ move on to the big screen at some point.
More details on the series are still secret, but according to what was reported, She-Hulk is scheduled to begin principal photography in July. The pre-production, on the other hand, is in progress.
