Saw: Chris Rock will write a reboot, produced by James Wan

Legendary has also revealed the creative team behind the reboot, in addition to a release date for the film, the 23 October 2020. The reboot will see the return of producer James Wan (Aquaman), and Leigh Whannell, the director of Saw II Darren Lynn Bousman.
“I have been a fan of Saw since the first movie in 2004, I am excited about the opportunity to bring it to a new level really intense and twisted,” said Rock.
