Samsung publishes an apology in several newspapers USA
In a desperate attempt to win back the confidence of consumers in the USA after the case of Notes 7, Samsung has purchased a full page about various american newspapers to apologize to its customers.
Specifically, Samsung has released this page of apology in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post. The text is signed Gregory Lee, CEO of Samsung North America, and contains a heartfelt plea to restore trust in the company. Lee admits that the company has failed in its promise to offer the best products in terms of safety, but says that Samsung is already working to never to commit such mistakes and regain the trust of our customers. In the text we read that the company is still investigating and will soon publish the full report with all the conclusions on the case, with details on the precise reasons that caused the failure of the Notes 7. Gregory Lee also speaks of the recent decision taken by Samsung to recall million washing machines sold in the United States, as a result of a potential security problem. Also in this case, the company is examining the reasons for, and shall indemnify all of its customers.
